Night Queen Perfume

My Night Queen Perfume is back! This limited edition summer scent was designed to capture the beauty, warmth, power, seduction, mystery, and straight-up magic of these three months per year when the nights are short but sweet and potent. Sometimes, less is more and certainly, in summer we find ways to heat up the night with passion and purpose even though we have more hours of day and sunlight in which to gather, play, and enjoy the fruits of the season. Yes, this is a summer blend, but there are no rules. Use it whenever you want!

Athena here – and I made this one at home. I gathered rare ingredients and did a sexy ceremony with this blend right here in my house, calling on the guardians of the sacred directions to be and move with me as I blended. Zoe had a girlfriend staying over that day who was transfixed. There is something about perfuming, about alchemy that enchants us all, young and experienced.

The deeper magic of my Night Queen Perfume

Let’s talk notes. Because there’s stuff in here that’s old and new.

The star of this scent show is without question boronia flower, imported from Tasmania for its syrupy sweetness. Boronia reduces stress and creates automatic flow – a total manifestation oil that costs $400/ounce. I put an entire ounce into this perfume, so you are getting a good dose of boronia!

Next is siam wood and, like boronia, it’s an essential oil I haven’t used before in any Sage Goddess blends! Siam wood comes from Vietnam and is related to cypress, a tree of transformation. Its primary medicine is that of releasing loneliness and connecting deeply with others. Siam wood is an anecdote to sadness that comes as a result of feeling separate from others. I don’t know about YOU, but I am craving connection.

So at this point, with boronia and siam wood, you’re in flow, you’re connected, as a Night Queen should be. The vetiver grounds and keeps you in your body. Three kinds of jasmine (night-blooming, day blooming, AND a rare jasmine attar from India) are aphrodisiacs that bring power and purpose. Cleopatra dipped her ships’ sails in jasmine to intoxicate those she meant to conquer. Oh yeah, the stuff of a night queen who sailed for a whole month to reach Marc Antony (and burned incense on her ships every night, I might add…)

Ok, so here we’re hot and bothered. But we’re not done. There are two OLD SCHOOL SG blends in this perfume that I’ve saved at home and not used since the San Francisco days … linking past and present.

Oh, did I mention passion flower? She’s over here taking up space and teaching you about desire. Valerian volunteered to be part of the crew, helping you rest once the party is over. Then sandalwood is there for the dry-down, a sexy counterpart to the vetiver and bedfellows with that seductive boronia flower.
