The Mermaid. She lives within each one of us, my dear goddesses. She is of the Earth and the Sea, the water, and the land. She is grounded, but she flows, negotiating all of life’s mysteries with grace. The expanse of Mother Ocean is her home, but she is half-human, and so can relate to us. She dives deep, unafraid to do the work. And this Mermaid Ritual set is her ritual set.

From the impassioned tales of Old World sailors, to the story of Ariel and friends in the Disney classic we all know and love, The Little Mermaid, the folklore surrounding these beautiful and mysterious creatures is virtually boundless.

Mermaids have fascinated us since we first took to the seas many centuries ago, and their magic hold on us has never ceased. They make us dream of exploration, courage, other-worldly beauty, and harmonious integration with our natural surroundings.

The tools in my Mermaid ritual set

First is a lovely Mermaid statue candle holder. Depicting a gorgeous mermaid in repose, this approx. 2.5” high, cast metal candle holder has a highly detailed and elegant, antique look to it – as well as an old world feel due to the substantial weight. This holder won’t blow away in the breeze, or be washed out to sea with the tide, so to speak. It is solid metal and firmly grounded.

This adorable and functional little holder also comes with one (1) approx. 4” sea foam blue, twist candle that has been affixed with a chip stone of aquamarine, for an extra layer of mer-magic!  The gem of organization and peace, aquamarine is an element of water, much like the mermaid. It is useful for clearing, releasing, spring renewal, and it aligns you with deep emotion.
