What is Kansa?
‘Kansa’ is a Hindi word for bronze. During the Bronze Age, it was regarded as a durable metal, and the Harappans, the Indus Valley peoples, created the Kansa. It was believed to have great healing properties and was incorporated into Ayurveda treatments. Ayurveda is an ancient health system developed by sages in India thousands of years ago.
