It’s an integral part of my spiritual practice – in fact, it’s what this community was built upon! Did you know that incense was the first form of perfume? The word “perfume” literally means “through smoke,” and our ancestors used incense to scent their bodies. Ancient Egyptians and Romans would “perfume” the air with the incense they burned. They believed that the sacred smoke of incense would raise all surrounding vibrations and assist them in their magical practice. Burning incense is a great way to smudge and it connects us with the ancients in a powerful and beautiful way.

Got this piece and did have to tighten the screw on top because it was a little loose. But I tightened it and all good. The only reason it got 4/5 was because I burner a Palo Cone and thought that the top wouldn’t get hot, boy was I wrong lol even though I grabbed the very tippy top, I still got a little burn. Now I know not to touch it for a few after I use it lol
