Who is Apollo?
Apollo is the Greek god of music, poetry, prophecy, and light. He’s a very important god in the Greek pantheon. His temple was one of the most important in ancient Greece and housed the Oracle, also known as the Pythia.
Strong and sensual, our Apollo Cologne represents the Masculine Light. We blended it with notes of cashmeran, frankincense, oakmoss, white sage, lemon, ginger, amber, sandalwood, vanilla, musk, and a very special essential oil from France, hyacinth. Each bottle is infused with a citrine chip stone for manifestation and prosperity.

Ares is the Greek god of war and the spirit of battle. His name is the origin of the zodiac sign Aries. Ares represents the physical aggression often needed to be successful in battle.
Fresh and clean, our Ares Cologne represents the Masculine Shadow. We blended it with orange blossom, vetiver, tobacco, basil, oakmoss, peppermint, and a very special oil, emerald cypress. Each bottle is infused with a tiger’s eye chip stone for empowerment, courage, and confidence.
- Orange blossom, also known as neroli, has a sweet, honeyed fragrance and attracts money and success. It purifies the spirit and is an oil of light, hope, and joy. Orange blossom has a high vibration, and although relaxing, it’s also stimulating and increases confidence.
- Vetiver, also known as Ruh Khus, brings honor and wisdom and helps you maintain calm in the face of adversity.
- Tobacco is protective and purifying and brings visions, greater consciousness, healing, guidance, and overall well-being.

I was so excited to have this perfume duo arrive! As a male, I am constantly on the lookout for any “male-friendly” perfumes from SG and rest assured I did not hesitate to purchase this set.
Each cologne offers something unique in its own way. The Ares cologne is more on the unisex side. Right away I could smell the orange blossom. At first I wasn’t a fan but as I’m writing this review, it’s been on me for about a few hours and I am really enjoying it. It’s got a nice refreshing scent to it. I think more women will like this perfume, in my opinion, especially with the orange blossom though the tobacco, vetiver, and oakmoss notes bring that masculine balance as well.
The Apollo cologne is great as well. Personally between the two, Apollo is more of my type. It’s earthy, slightly musky, certainly on the more masculine side. It reminds me of a subtle nighttime cologne. The citrusy notes with the earthy and musk notes go VERY well together. Plus the white sage and amber give it a refreshing tone. If you’re looking to get a more masculine cologne for you or to purchase one for a male in your life, I suggest the Apollo cologne.
Last but not least, when paired together, as the product description suggests you do, I felt very balanced. The notes flow together like a harmonious call of order. I just love the combination of Apollo and Ares! I don’t think I could spray one without the other. It will make me feel “off”. It just makes me feel more empowered. The longevity of the colognes lasted a few hours after spraying it on too, which is a definite plus. I never liked perfumes/colognes where the scent dissipated not long after spraying them on.
Athena or anyone from the SG team, if you’re reading this, I hope you bring more masculine type colognes. This set is without a doubt, some of the best products SG has offered! I think I’m going to buy another set for myself because I don’t want to ever run out of these colognes!

My fiancé and I absolutely LOVE this duo. Both scents are amazing and intoxicating- it was a Father’s Day present for him and he was surprised and delighted. If you are wondering if these act like an aphrodisiac, every time he wears them, I want to devour him! 😉

I definitely like the two different cologne scent, but I absolutely love them both together, they smell awesome,! I love love love them together, Athena was right about suggesting to purchase both!
I purchased them for a Father’s Day gift and I know I’m going to have a hard time parting with them lol … :))
