If my Sana Perfume calls to you, you are ready to heal and transform like never before. I say this because this blend is the product of a spiritual journey I took with my favorite plant teacher.

‘Sana’ means ‘heal’ in Spanish. It’s a word used often in sacred ‘icaros’ — the songs shamans play during plant ceremonies. It is both a blessing and a command, directing us to do our sacred work in the world.

My Sana Perfume is the first perfume I ever blended during ceremony, and it’s an exceptional pure essential oil blend. I crafted the perfume’s base beforehand, swirling the oils during my journey, watching each essence fuse with the mother blend.

This perfume contains notes of:

• Gardenia
• Kadamba supreme attar
• Prickly ash
• Amber
• Tobacco

The deeper magic of my Sana Perfume

The magic of this perfume lies in its ingredients.

• Tuberose is an aphrodisiac that attracts love. It’s also calming, bringing ease to the body and providing a deep sense of peace.
• Vetiver induces lucid dreaming and deep sleep. Its long, thick roots and earthy fragrance offer protection, rooting you deeply into Mother Earth and bringing your unconscious thoughts forward into reality.
• Gardenia is an oil of purity, spirituality, peace, and love. It helps you reach deep within yourself and illuminates what could be hiding from your view. Gardenia transmutes energies and awakens deep compassion and clarity.
• Kadamba supreme attar is a very rare, expensive attar that comes from a source that is now out of business. It’s a sweet oil that lasts and lasts. Kadamba helps purify the aura and body of negativity or any stuck energies.
• Prickly ash is associated with wisdom, magic, and divination. It’s connected with shamanic healing rites and initiation rituals because of its ability to heighten the senses. Prickly ash is associated with Pisces and is used to induce prophetic dreams.
• Amber is warm, musky, rich, sweet, and spicy. It’s cleansing, earthy, grounding, healing, and purifying. Amber brings balance, harmony, and inspiration to the soul.
• Tobacco is a sacred herb of prayer, protection, purification, respect, peace, gratitude, and ancestor connection. Working with Tobacco brings visions, greater consciousness, healing, guidance, and overall well-being.
• Labdanum, called the ‘perfume of Arabia’ by ancients, is one of the most highly valued scents in perfumery. It’s mysterious — sedating yet uplifting, and wonderful for meditation and contemplation. Labdanum has a glamorous, sexy essence associated with solar deities and Venus.
• Patchouli supports spiritual growth. Its essence digs in deep and helps break long-held patterns of shame and low self-worth. In turn, this herb inspires balanced introspection and real self-love in return.
• Cypress encourages balance, inner peace, trust, and wisdom. It’s grounding, healing, and protective, and connects the human spirit to the wisdom of the universe.
• Atlas cedar is grounding and centering, providing safety, support, and comfort. Atlas cedar is an excellent choice for deep introspection and meditation. It connects you to your innermost wisdom and helps you tap into your ancestral knowledge.
• Jasmine is an angelic fragrance that heightens spiritual awareness and opens your heart to unconditional, transformative love and compassion. Its peaceful and serene essence helps you sleep while also bringing prophetic dreams.
• Rue, also known as Ruda, is a potent protective oil. In the Middle Ages, people hung rue on doorways and windows to keep evil spirits away. Working with rue cleanses you spiritually, emotionally, and energetically.
