Lavender is derived from the Latin lavare, which simply means ‘to wash,’ and its many uses date back to Roman times. Lavender can help support physical wellness, especially promoting restful sleep and bringing about a state of happiness. One of the most commonly used essential oils in the world, the lavender plant represents tranquility, meditation, yin and yang, the Crown Chakra, levels of higher consciousness, and purification. I received this as a free gift in an order and was delighted and concerned at first. I have never been fond of the smell of lavender but team SG was so wonderful in gifting it to me and I have come to trust their intuition so I decided to give it a shot. It’s been nearly a week and I find myself using it multiple times a day! Sometimes I put it on when I feel stressed, other times I just take the cap off and breathe in the scent for a quick calming moment. I’ve used it every night before bed and now my 11 year old son asks for some before bed too!

My son (20) was having trouble sleeping, and he asked if I had any Lavender Oil in my stash, as one of his friends told him rubbing it on his feet would help him sleep. We went through my oils and I was out. He looked at my bowl of Sage Goddess samples, and said, is there any in here?
I shook my head, “no”
Then I remembered, “hang on, lets check”
I found my Dark Lavender sample and had him smell it. “OMG Ma, whats in this?”
I wasn’t sure so we came to this page, I reluctantly watched him walk away with my sample. This morning he came to me and said, “It worked! It isn’t DARK lavender, its SUPER lavender.”
