These green opal spheres are truly something to behold. I’m rolling one in my hands right now, and it’s almost like holding an alien planet in my palm – a miniature world complete with beautiful and bizarre weather patterns, brightly colored oceans and rivers, and deeply hued forests and mountains. The colors are so incongruous and striking, and their patterns are so swirling and striated.

The “green” in the nomenclature is a bit of a misnomer. Not that they aren’t green – they are green to be sure, many shades of it in fact – but they are also deep blue, pink, white, orange, and earthen.
