Litha Ritual Kit to celebrate the Summer Solstice

Summer Solstice, or Litha in Pagan and Wiccan traditions, is a Divine midway point; it is a portal into the third space, and the great divider of time and space. It represents balance between light and dark, both outside of and within you. Balance is what we all seek, and at the two Solstice points of the year (summer and winter) we are offered access to a doorway in time, one which our ancestors have historically viewed as sacred and holy.

The sacred tools of the Litha Ritual Kit

The Summer Solstice is all about balance, looking back from where you came, and forward to where you need to go. The tools in this kit are intended to help you invoke your inner fire, your empowerment, and your drive, to propel you forward as you cross the bridge into the remaining half of the year.  You will receive the following tools in this Litha Ritual kit:

First, my Litha Perfume. This summer blend has top notes of cinnamon apple and Indonesian teakwood floating atop the spicy warm scent of Fijian dates and lemon. Each 10 mL roller bottle has been infused with a sunstone chip stone for added empowerment. This blend is intended to invoke your inner fire and creativity. Use it to anoint yourself and your gems for ritual.

Next is my Litha candle. This candle is hand rolled using sheets of yellow and gold beeswax to connect with the energy of the sun. It is made with love and intention right here in the SG shop. Each one is infused with my Litha Perfume, a sunstone chip stone for added connection to the summer fire, and adorned with custom SG artwork and a Litha blessing.

Then, a Seasonal Handmade Smudge Bundle. Handmade with love and respect for the source, these white sage bundles are ideal tools for consecrating sacred space. Why do we burn sage and other herbs? Elders have burned these sacred herbs for centuries in order to clear and protect their space. The smoke of ceremonial white sage in particular is said to draw positive spirits and discourage the presence of any unwanted energy.

Lastly, a Litha Ritual gemstone set consisting of the following:

1 Carnelian. Carnelian offers a major energy boost, while instilling both courage and enthusiasm whenever needed. It puts you into overdrive, giving you the push you need to get things done and manifest your dreams. Its Sacral Chakra correspondence also activates your sexual passion and your creative force. This stone is passion on fire!

1 Green Aventurine. Green aventurine, otherwise known as “the stone of opportunity” releases old habits, patterns, and disappointments so new growth can take place. It brings optimism and a zest for life, allowing you to move forward with confidence and to embrace change. It enhances one’s creativity and motivation, and encourages perseverance in maneuvering life’s obstacles. It also reinforces one’s decisiveness and amplifies leadership qualities, injecting a sense of humor and openness to the ideas of others.

1 Fire Agate. Fire agate is a powerful stone – it activates and heals the root chakra, helps with addiction recovery, shamanic journeying, and vision questing as a protective stone for astral travel. It’s hard to find and is definitely a gem for the collector as well as the healer. It seals holes in the auric field, so shaman and healers find it helpful when working with clients whose energy is depleted, porous, or toxic. It honors the element of fire and holds the direction of the South in the medicine wheel.

1 Laguna Agate. Highly prized for is vibrancy and beauty, laguna agate is actually a variety of chalcedony, a mineral of the quartz family. This stone harmonizes with the lower chakras and is known as a stabilizing and strengthening gemstone. Laguna agate ignites your inner fire and sparks Life Force, creativity, and sexuality.

1 Clear Quartz Point. Clear quartz is the most pervasive crystal in the gem world. Its high vibration draws people in, and its accessibility makes it a go-to piece in any collection. This is the stone of intentions. It amplifies them, magnifies them, holds them for the bearer, and seals them in. You can program quartz with your intentions so they are never forgotten.
