Selva Intention Candle

Let me take you deep into the Yucatan jungle.

In August 2023, I turned 50, and to celebrate, I took my kids to the Yucatan Peninsula to experience the beauty and magic of Riviera Maya. I had no idea what magic was truly in store for me there, but it was so much more than I imagined.

One of the most special parts of the trip was our experience at the place where we stayed in the Yucatan jungle. The shaman there helped connect me more deeply with my vision for my online program this year called Apothecary. The mystical depths of the Yucatan jungle

In Mexico, the jungle belongs to the Maya in the north, and many of the residents are Mayan by ancestry, still speaking the original language and honoring the original traditions and old ways. Fruits, flowers, and resins of trees unite in a winding of the branches of time and truth to help you deepen your own wisdom and trust in the great and sacred unfolding of lineage magic.

During my trip, the place where we stayed made a special scent blend for me because it was my birthday. It was intoxicating, but I did not know the notes. I brought home the tiny amount that was left of this blend, and we did our best to recreate it for YOU — and so Selva, which means ‘jungle’ in Spanish, was born!

My Selva Intention Candle is infused with a blend that replicates the fragrance that was made for me. We already introduced my Selva Perfume to you yesterday, and I’m so excited for you to add this candle to your collection, as well. These tools are designed to be worked with together — incorporate them into your rituals to call in powerful Earth magic.

This candle is blended with notes of:

• Lime
• Bergamot
• Mandarin
• Pink Grapefruit
• Helichrysum
• Tuberose
• Ylang ylang

We hand-poured this beautiful candle right here at Sage Goddess Headquarters with a light green soy-wax blend in a clear glass jar. To add to the magic, we infused each candle with a tumbled tree agate for grounding Earth energy and ancestral wisdom. We then topped it with green mica to open your heart and a clear quartz point to amplify and direct the magic.

About Sage Goddess Apothecary

The deeper magic of my Selva Intention Candle

If you want to feel what I felt, smell what I smelled, and indulge in what felt like secret alchemy for me, Selva is for you.

• Lime carries a scent that is uplifting and invigorating. It boosts mental clarity, alertness, and concentration. It also increases positivity and focus and reduces feelings of self-doubt, fear, or dread.
• Bergamot centers scattered energy, improves energy, and brings restful sleep. It promotes spiritual and physical well-being, confidence, courage, and achievement.
