Let your inner light shine with my Song of Astraeus Intention Candle! This candle calls forth the energy of Astraeus — the Greek Titan god of the stars, astrology, planets, dusk, and winds. It’s a beautiful reminder that in times of darkness, the most powerful guide is the light within.

We hand-poured this candle right here at Sage Goddess Headquarters with deep blue soy wax befitting the twilight sky. We also added my illuminating Song of Astraeus Perfume.

This candle contains notes of:

• Myrtle
• Banana
• Fig
• Frankincense
• Tangerine

We also infused it with an afghanite chip stone, a Third Eye Chakra stone that supports soul journeying. We also topped each offering with a clear quartz point for magnified intentions. As a finishing touch, we wrapped every candle with deep blue sari silk to match the night sky.

Who is Astraeus?

Astraeus is the Greek god of stars, astrology, dusk, and winds. His name translates to ‘Starry One,’ and he symbolizes illumination. Just like the stars have the power to illuminate and guide, you also have your own inner guidance system. Astraeus reminds you that the stars shine more brightly at night, inviting you to seek the light within in the darkest of times.

The magic of this candle lies in its ingredients:

• Myrtle encourages strength and stability. It’s a clear, herbaceous scent that brings purifying energies of love, beauty, and celebration. It attracts positive energy and is excellent for divination and prophecy.
• Banana is a symbol of good fortune and prosperity. It brings luck, wealth, and gentle protection. Bananas encourage you to slow down, establish a flow, and trust your ability to get things done on time.
• Fig is linked to Jupiter — the planet of growth, expansion, and optimism — and is often a component in love spells, fertility magic, and protection rituals. The ancient Greeks revered fig as a symbol of love and fertility.
• Frankincense encourages spiritual travelers to drop out of their minds and let go of limitations, making space for a greater connection to the divine. Its transformative nature outlines what no longer serves you, dispersing that energy so you can experience joy and stay present.
• Tangerine relieves stress, eases pain, and melts away fear. It clarifies thought processes, purifies your mind of fear and self-limiting beliefs, and brings you to the present moment.
