Fan the flames of inspiration with this Straw Brigid’s Cross! It was initially a part of our 2024 February Apothecary Tools, and now it’s available on its own. We had it custom-made for Sage Goddess to honor the Celtic goddess of wisdom, poetry, hearth, and home. These crosses have broken straw in some areas.
Brigid’s cross is an ancient Celtic symbol of protection, traditionally woven out of straw or rushes and hung above doorways to ward off negativity. It’s also associated with the arrival of spring, signifying new life, new growth, and the anticipation of new beginnings.
