Rare rainbow ammolite are here fresh from Tucson. I am so excited to bring this offering to you again, direct from the source via the gem show. Ammolite is a rainbow aragonite formation that occurs on two species of extinct ammonite fossils. These come to you via Calgary Canada which is now the only supplier of this gorgeous material. Ammolite is more than 70 million years old, and large specimen pieces retail for more than $100,000 up to $500,000.

I hand selected each piece of this magic for the shop to ensure that your piece displays the most intense and vibrant color possible. The photo is an excellent representation of the quality. I recommend wire wrapping yours to wear as a necklace but of course you can simply keep it on your altar as a sacred reminder of Earth’s ancient wisdom and the rainbow of possibility that awaits you in life. Ammolite accesses and aligns the 7 chakras or energy centers in the body and is one of the few materials on Earth that displays the entire rainbow spectrum without any manmade intervention or treatment.

This is such a gorgeous stone! In the light it sparkles, too. I haven’t worked with it much yet, but it feels old. And it reminds me of a dragon scale!
