The deeper magic of these Saraswati Printed Drums with Mallet
The Sanskrit word sara means “essence” and swa means “self”; Saraswati means “the essence of the self.” Saraswati is worshipped in the realms of knowledge and learning, and her essence is particularly felt by scholars and teachers. And, the earliest historical record of a drummer was a woman — Lipaushiu, a Sumerian priestess c. 3,000 BC.
