The deeper magic of these Saraswati Printed Drums with Mallet
The Sanskrit word sara means “essence” and swa means “self”; Saraswati means “the essence of the self.” Saraswati is worshipped in the realms of knowledge and learning, and her essence is particularly felt by scholars and teachers. And, the earliest historical record of a drummer was a woman — Lipaushiu, a Sumerian priestess c. 3,000 BC. I just used my new Saraswati drum for Shamanic journeying, and let me tell you, it was magick. When you play this drum, it is not just a drumbeat you will hear, but the drum actually sings like a flute or a river. The Goddess of creativity and of waters flows from this drum. This is the most magickal drum I have ever played and I am so grateful.
