For our 12th anniversary, I wanted to get back to the essence of Sage Goddess — so I created my SG Anniversary Loose Leaf Incense. Twelve years ago, I created my first smudge bundle for Sage Goddess on my own kitchen table. With this offering, I’m getting back to my roots with a loose leaf incense blend to cleanse and clear the energy around you and your space.

It contains white sage from our original sage supplier near the California/Mexico border (their sage is USDA certified organic and burns sooooo much differently than others), flowers from my personal garden, and (my favorite part) sage from my Dad’s sage seedlings. This blend of white sage, star jasmine, rose, blue sage, geranium, pink hydrangea, and mugwort will arrive beautifully packaged in a silver and gold colored bag because it really is a gift from me just for you! It is a limited edition offering. You can’t make the same exact magic twice. I visited this exact family and these sage plants on my 36th birthday before the birth of SG. In ancient times, our ancestors would ‘perfume’ the air with incense, believing the sacred smoke to raise all surrounding vibrations and assist them in their magical practice. • White sage is a sacred herb used for centuries by elders to clear and consecrate space. The smoke of ceremonial white sage, in particular, is said to draw positive spirits and discourage the presence of any unwanted energy. Most people find the scent grounding and centering.
• Star jasmine brings pure light and joy with its uplifting vibration. It symbolizes purity and feminine beauty and arouses sensuality, energy, and creativity.

Additionally, our sage source is far from urban areas, and the surrounding air is fresh — pollution-free. The water on the farm has lots of minerals that white sage requires to thrive; this water originally flushed the roots of desert plants like salvia apiana before becoming part of the natural aquifers in this region.
