That luminous disc of the sun’s light, like a ring of fire in the sky – it’s a spectacle to say the least. And a powerful time to explore our magic. I believe that when these celestial entities align, such that the sun is obscured from our view, other things come into light for us here on Earth.

However, a solar eclipse does not have to be visible to you for you to harness its magic. Solar eclipses are actually more common than lunar eclipses by a 3:2 ratio, so there are at least two times per year when you can invoke the power of this celestial configuration. These precious few minutes demand that space be held and that we ground and center ourselves, as the energy of the Universe is highly mobilized and shifting.

First in this offering is the gem set. Sunstone, sun-and-moonstone (aka golden feldspar), obsidian, labradorite, black agate, and clear quartz. Sunstone is the gem of sacral leadership that inspires you to take action and own your desires. It also prompts creativity and brings energy to new ideas. Sun-and-moonstone is the stone for balancing masculine and feminine energies and happy relationships. It recharges and balances from the center of personal power for increased confidence.

Black obsidian is a gentle grounding stone that heals tears and holes in the auric field. It reminds you of your inner strength and your latent fire. Labradorite is the stone of the dark moon that promotes creativity, facilitates new beginnings, and draws down the energy of the night, the mysteries of the universe, and the depth of your soul.

Black agate is a grounding stone of inner peace, good will, and strength. It stabilizes energy through the Root Chakra for increased self-control, resilience, and balance of the mind, body, and spirit. Lastly, clear quartz is the crystal of magnification, intensification, and sealing of spells or intentions. It will strengthen the vibration and healing properties of all the other gems in this set.
