White Sage Chakra Besoms for purification and energetic balance

Portable and potent are these white sage chakra besoms! This offering is the reimagined version of the sage besoms I offered previously. The difference? These besoms feature a chip stone and sari silk that corresponds to each chakra!

In magical traditions, besoms (or brooms) are used to sweep clear the energy of a space and protect it, holding a protective vibration that keeps everyone in that space safe. I’ve created these white sage chakra besoms with sprigs of organically grown and wild-harvested white sage (salvia apiana), decorated each one with a chakra-appropriate gemstone, and wrapped each one in sari silk ribbon to correspond with the Earth Star, Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye, Crown and Soul Star Chakras. Work with these sprigs to bring serenity, alignment, and clarity to your mind and sacred spaces.

The deeper magic of these white sage chakra besoms

Since ancient times, people have burned sacred herbs like sage in order to clear and consecrate their sacred spaces. The smoke of ceremonial white sage in particular is said to draw positive spirits and discourage the presence of any unwanted energy. Most people find the scent grounding and centering. Keep yours on your altar and burn it to clear your space, then keep the chip stones and sari silk as treasures. You can wrap the silk into a beautiful bracelet or tie it around the candle you’re currently working with. If you don’t want to burn your besom as smudge, you can also keep it unlit as a sacred and beautiful talisman for purification and chakra healing.

The water on the farm has lots of minerals that white sage requires to thrive; this water originally flushed the roots of desert plants like salvia apiana before becoming part of the natural aquifers in this region.
